Onco Detectors International LLC (Onco Detectors) founded in 2005 is dedicated to developing new biomarkers for cancer to detect, monitor, and improve patient care.

Currently Onco Detectors offers two products for research use. The first product, an Ultra-Sensitive PSA ELISA kit to detect PSA at levels below the standard tests. Our companion company, Cancer Tracers Inc. focuses their efforts on prostate cancer specifically. [For more information on Cancer Tracers click here] Research opportunities include studying PSA cell lines at very low picogram/ml levels. Another potential research area involves higher levels of PSA in women with breast cancer.

Our second product is a Migration Inhibitory Factor (MIF) ELISA kit. Pre-clinical studies have shown that MIF in conjunction with PSA increases the sensitivity of prostate screening from 48% to 89%. Preliminary studies have found MIF to be over expressed for 5 additional cancers including bladder, kidney, ovarian, breast, and lung. ODI is pursuing ongoing research and development activities for these cancers.

CTI is undertaking FDA clinical trials to clear MIF for prostate cancer screening. ODI is undertaking FDA clinical trials to clear MIF for bladder cancer screening. A third assay, TNF-alpha, has been developed and is being readied for FDA research use registration.
